Hocking
releasing two titles in August to celebrate In My Backpack

York (August 2017) – Author Bob Hocking is excited to announce
the release of his eighth and ninth books, Life Won’t Pass
Me By and Conversations. Each effort is a collection
assembled to celebrate the fourteenth anniversary of his web site.
Life
Won’t Pass Me By features forty-four observational essays,
drawn from material originally posted between March of 2003 and
March of 2017. Published on August 8, 2017, Life Won’t Pass
Me By is currently available from online booksellers in paperback
and Kindle editions.
Conversations
contains more than a dozen interviews. Pieces with Las Vegas headliner
Terry Fator and Pulitzer-nominated writer/journalist/author Earl
Swift are included, along with special segments and bonus material
exclusive to this title. Conversations is scheduled for
release on August 22, 2017, and will also be released in paperback
and for Kindle.
Bob
is preparing a busy schedule for the remainder of 2017. Along
with readings and other appearances, he has confirmed a run of
dates in the northeast to present the “A Writer’s Workshop” program.
Designed as an introduction for new and novice authors, each session
provides details for those looking to get published offered from
the perspective of “things I wish I knew when I was getting started”.
A
graduate of Syracuse University, Bob was born and raised in Rhode
Island. He currently lives with his wife, Terry, in upstate New
York.
