Hocking's
eleventh release is A Parkside View: Volumes 3 & 4
New
York (February 2018) – In July of 2016, author Bob Hocking began
publishing a monthly newsletter. Now, drawn from the essays in
the third and fourth volumes of the effort, Hocking is excited
to announce the release of his highly anticipated eleventh book,
A Parkside View: Volumes 3 & 4. A release date has
been set for August 26, 2020.
A
Parkside View: Volumes 3 & 4 contains sixty essays,
including two written exclusively for the book release (“Life”
and “The pursuit of happiness”).
Bob’s
newsletter continues to be published each month. Distributed by
e-mail, A Parkside View is available for free. Each issue
of A Parkside View features at least two essays. The
first is always new, having never before been made available.
The second is what he refers to as From the Backpack material
– older pieces that may have appeared in other forms, which can
date back to the earliest of his writing efforts. Often, an issue
will contain more than two essays in addition to other content.
A
graduate of Syracuse University, Bob was born and raised in Rhode
Island. He currently lives with his wife, Terry, in upstate New
York.

The
initial release will be a paperback edition running approximately
265 pages and also an e-book on the same date

Gillen has provided artwork and design features for In My
Backpack, which includes the iconic Gus Logo and some of
the images featured on the cover.
